'This Helles is brewed in collaboration with Newbarns Brewery in Scotland. They have been geeking out with a helles recipe that allows the malts to really shine through. We're using a lot from their base recipe to see the effect of using Gyrup malt. It is locally grown and malted, and is uses heritage grains. We will brew with 90% pilsner malt and 10% Barbushka purple naked barley malt, which will not give color to the beer, but will add some body and texture.'
