A powerful blend of grapes combine to create a red ideal for the change of seasons - aromas of ripe summer fruits conjure notions of scorching days and tall blue skies that last long into the evening. Lurking, however, we find a suggestion of smokiness, tobacco and oak; dark nights and an open fire. This is a wine that reminds us that summer can't last forever, but also of an old friend we've missed. Winter may be coming but it won't outstay its welcome if it tips up with a bottle of this.
