Francesco Pozzobon and Pauline Alfano-Giacometti, young vignerons from Nizza Monferrato in the heart of the Piedmont region grow their own grapes in a holistic, biodynamic fashion with a low-impact ecosystem. Once ripe, the grapes are simply escorted to the cellar, without the aid of any additives.

This orange wine is made from Moscato Bianco grapes grown on 50 year old vines in clay and tufa soil. The grapes are de-stemmed and placed in cement tanks for 20 day skin contact spontaneous fermentation. After racking, the refinement takes place in oak barrels for about 8 months. The wine is then aged in bottles for 2 months before release. No filtration, clarification of any kind, and without any additions of sulphites. The wine is vibrant yet delicate with notes of stone fruit and grapefruit.
