I'm trying to cast my mind back to remember my first encounter with Track Brewing Co but I can't put my finger on it. Feels like their beers have been in my life for a good while now especially their signature 'go to' 3.8% pale ale, Sonoma.
All Good Beer has proudly stocked beers from Track Brewing co since we popped up in Bermondsey (back when beer mostly came in bottles.) They have been a staple in our fridges ever since. I do remember getting a keg of Lipari Lemon Sour in which blew my mind and I was pushing it on anyone who would listen! It was at a time when some people hadn't tried a sour ale so it was a lot of fun seeing how they reacted to it.
In August 2019 we invited Track Brewing co to our spot in Bermondsey to launch their first run of canned beers. We were lucky enough to be joined by Top Dog and truly one of the nicest people in the beer world, Stefan Melbourne. I remember meeting Stefan for the first time at Mother Kelly's in Bethnal Green. It was the launch night of LMN - a collaboration DIPA between three of the northern powerhouse breweries, Wylam, North Brewing Co. & of course Track Brewing co. This collaboration went on to be brewed every year with each brewery taking it in turns to host the other two.
The last time this beer was made was in Manchester at Track Brewing co. We were stoked to be one of the first 11 venues nationally to launch it! This event was on 28th February 2020. Little did we know then that world would be turned upside down just a few weeks later.
Now that we are hopefully coming out of the other-side of the pandemic, there is something quite comforting knowing despite everything that life throws at us, there is always Sonoma.
